About Us

Komondor Guesthouse was born from a dream we had cherished for many years.

We wanted to create a place where couples, families and groups of friends could escape the routines of everyday life.

But we also know that relaxation means something different to everyone.

Some seek peace and quiet. Others stay up talking by the fire until dawn. Some head out to explore, while others unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a barbecue, or simply appreciate having time together with the people who matter most.

That is why we designed our log house so that everyone can find their own way to relax and recharge.

We hope our guests leave with wonderful memories — and a desire to return.

Komondor Guesthouse is a spacious log house that can comfortably accommodate 8+2 guests.

The house features four separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, two of which can accommodate an extra bed.

In addition to the bedrooms, guests can enjoy a spacious living room, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and a comfortable reading and workspace area upstairs.

One of the special features of the guest experience is our wood-fired hot tub, which we take great care to keep clean and pleasant for every guest. We pay particular attention to water quality: rather than relying on excessive chemicals or high salt levels to keep the same water in use for long periods, we regularly check and maintain the water and replace it completely whenever necessary.

In the garden, guests can enjoy barbecuing, traditional Hungarian kettle cooking (bogrács), and cooking over an open fire. The spacious garden is perfect for outdoor activities together, whether it’s a game of badminton or football, while younger guests can enjoy their own playhouse.
